Soak up culture in The Hague

From Central Station, take a stroll along Malieveld to your apartment at YAYS The Hague Willemspark. You can admire Escher in het Paleis around the corner, and a fifteen-minute walk from your apartment will bring you to the Mauritshuis, a splendid example of the Golden Age. Another treasure is the Royal Stables where you can admire historic carriages, including the Golden Coach. From there, take a detour via the Palace Gardens and the cosy Hofkwartier to the chic shopping street called Noordeinde. With your YAYS bike, you’ll be at the Atlantikwall war museum in the Nieuwe Scheveningse bosjes in 10 minutes. All of The Hague’s treasures are withing easy reach.

Experience Amsterdam like an Amsterdammer

Put on your boots, hop on your YAYS bike and cycle to Westerpark for a lovely autumn walk. If you’re there on the first Sunday of the month, then don’t miss out on the Sunday Market, located in the old factory buildings of the Westergasfabriek. Don’t think that sailing through the canals and dining romantically by the water are only for tourists. In fact, these are also Amsterdammers’ all-time favourites. So go for it! The old neighbourhood of Amsterdam-Oost is another must-see: wandering through the streets, spotting street art and enjoying the autumn colours in Oosterpark. Shop till you drop in Antwerp’s cutest boutiques

YAYS Antwerp Opera is right in the Diamond Quarter in the heart of the city. It goes without saying that you will find many jewellers in the neighbourhood. We recommend Studio Collect and Les Ecuadors, two small jewellery shops. Need some nice jumpers for winter? You might find them at La Collection or the shop of the trendy fashion brand Lewis & Melly. A taste of autumn in Paris

Autumn is a great time to visit Paris. The summer rush is over, the autumn hues colour the city, the smell of roasted chestnuts lingers through the streets and the restaurants are cosy and warm again. It is also the time of the Beaujolais Nouveau, which is traditionally celebrated in cafés on the third Tuesday of November. So hop on the train to Paris and breath in the fresh autumn air as you walk out of your apartment at YAYS Paris Issy or Paris Eiffel by YAYS. What will it be today? A stroll through Montmartre, the city’s oldest district, or a dive into a piece of unknown Paris? Strolling along the waterfront of the Canal de l’Ourcq will make you feel like a local among locals. Have a beer at the Paname Brewing Company, or, even more fun, at the Pavillon des Canaux.
